does my suspension need inflating?
If your car is grounding out over speed bumps or the ride is poor chances are your hdragas needs inflating, some simple checks can tell you if your car is at the incorrect ride height.
Firstly a visual check, you should be able to see all of the tyre when viweing the car from the side, and there should be an even gap around the tyre to the wheelarch. The below image is of an MGF Trophy with correctly inflated suspension (please note the Trophy is 20mm lower than standard MGF's).

Incorrectly inflated suspension as shown below means the top of the tyre is inside the wheel arch and not visible. If your car looks like this please contact us urgently as your tyres will likely be wearing unevenly along with your suspension components!

The best way to check the ride height is by measuring from the centre of the front wheel to the top of the wheel arch. For an MGF this measurement should be around 368mm (For the MGF Trophy - 348mm).
